Flash of Forsythia

Just a few weeks ago the Forsythia in my yard started to show the early buds. Today the flowers are almost gone.  But that’s okay because the time on between was amazing!

The flowers were brilliant; I liken it to a bright sunshiny day.

Here’s a little bit about the forcythia:

The Forsythia is a Spring-blooming shrub that can be grown as an individual shrub or together as a hedge. And it is darn near impossible to harm them. A few years ago I had to shear off then dig up one of these hardy shrubs. I threw it into the mulch pile where it continued to grow!
