- Southern by Choice (SBC) is one of Pittsburgh’s hottest new country bands with a sound all our own. Some call it edgy, some call it new, but everyone agrees that we’re a full-blown country party! SBC’s sound was born out of the melding of old and new, from the more traditional and the new cutting edge. Southern By Choice likes to play a good hard beat and give the people something to dance to.SBC plays a variety of Country music, newer and traditional, along with some Southern Rock and Classic Rock thrown in the mix. Southern By choice will leave Pittsburgh someday, but Pittsburgh will never leave Southern By Choice. The values that Southern By Choice has learned from this great city will always be instilled in their stage presence and their music.
